There are times . . .

. . . when I am *really* glad I am not in the demographic for most of what is marketed these days. Like now:

App To Help Men Score & Tweet (by Pepsi)

Tired of a night out clubbing only to come home with a limp ego? Then try AMP UP BEFORE YOU SCORE, an actual iPhone app that helps you change your game and increase your chances to score with any type of woman, whether she's a "rebound girl," "aspiring actress," or a member of the ever-growing herd of "cougars."

Once a woman is defined by type, the rest is a snap. Check the app for her profile, and review the cheat-sheet providing details as to what she's into, and more importantly what sure-fire pick-up lines will cinch the deal.

No, it's not a joke. Well, it is, but it isn't *really* an intentional one. Except in the hey-I-meant-it-ironically way that seems to be the escape clause for everything these days.

Ah, brave new world, that has such technology in it. Who could have imagined such a thing?

Tragic that people do't repect themselves.

One of the tragedies our time is that unthinking people do not respect their own bodies or persons. But now there is a new view that suggests that there is much more than 'just this material world'. Real thinkers will have to have a knowledge showing that contiguous dimensional worlds are for real.
With the existence of 'Techie Worlds' (available at amazon.com) believers in Christianity can hold their views utilizing sound logic, clear thinking and a mechanistic view of worlds. Applying Flatland's concept of contiguous dimensional worlds, Trinity, Resurrection, Judgment and soul are sensible and mechanically viable beliefs. 'Techie Worlds' follows that rule of science by which individual details are tested for their conformity to the overarching hypothesis. Admittedly, agnostics may choose not to follow such obvious and sensible logic, but no longer can they denigrate believers for fuzzy thinking. Moslems and pagans who read and understand the sound logic of the Flatland concept must adopt the reasonable Trinitarian view. 'Techie Worlds' will make them abandon the ways of terror an adopt the way of love. Techie Worlds is not standard preacher-prattle. Only by reading it can you open your mind to its valid way of understanding Christianity.

"Dr. George Richter CMfgE/PE"

So, "Doctor", what exactly did you receive your doctorate in and from what accredited university?

CMfgE is a "Certified Manufacturing Engineer", and "PE" is a "Professional Engineer". Neither is a doctoral degree, and neither entitle you to the honorific "Doctor".

Also, any real doctor is taught in school - before they receive their doctorate - that you don't combine your title "Dr." and also add your degrees after your name. Makes you look like an idiot, frankly. Assuming you actually have a doctorate of some sort, then it would either be "Dr. George Richter" OR "George Richter, CMfgE/PE" - never both.

So, right out of the gate, you're treading on extremely thin ice with me.

So, I checked out your book and the excerpt on Amazon. It looks like a pile of warmed-over, hand-waving, woo-filled mystical pseudoscience, to be brutally honest with you. I mean, Deepak Chopra has been pushing this same sort of weirdo new-age crap for years and years. I'll bet you use the term "quantum" in the rest of the book extensively, don't you?

Right off the bat, you belie your animosity towards those whom you consider to be "materialists" (which I can only assume means "anyone who I don't agree with" or "the evil enemy"). I mean, c'mon! What the heck is up with this quote from your book?

[Amazon Link] "But we also have great arguments about how to properly use science in dealing with mankind. An example: It is now possible to discover DNA defects of a child who is still in the womb. Materialists say "Kill that child....by law... as a public health measure that will save millions of dollars in medical costs." Believers in the greater worlds say "God knows what he is doing. He sends us special people so we can help others."

Really George? Materialists say "kill that child"? Really? You think that characterizing, demonizing, and stereotyping "materialists" in this fashion is a wise move in the first 10 pages of your book - especially since your target fucking audience is these selfsame "materialists"?

Are you really that ignorant?

A page or two later you admit - right at the beginning - that you have "no proof", and that your "logic is circuitous":

[Amazon Link] Admittedly, the dimensional relationship of the contiguous worlds cannot be proved. Particle physics shows that higher dimension physical worlds do exist. It is only Christian beliefs that include concepts supporting the worlds described here. The logic is circuitous: if one has the faith, then these worlds are logical and fulfill science's need for a better description of the real worlds. But no scientific experiment will bring us a direct view of any 'higher' world.

"Particle physics shows"? Really? Why don't you just intone sonorously, "The Bible says..."? Please. More woo-woo hand waving.

Dude. You have replaced traditional "spirit realm" religious terminology with pseudo-sciency-sounding gobbledeygook.

Your bible got one thing right: There truly is nothing new under the sun - in Christian apologetics, I mean. :)
