A family in Saudi Arabia is tired of the harassment, tired of the violence, tired of the theft of property. They're not taking it lying down, and are going to bring the perp to justice. Who is this Menace 2 Saud-ciety?

Why, a genie of course.

Per the BBC:

A family in Saudi Arabia is taking a "genie" to court, accusing it of theft and harassment, reports say.

They accuse the spirit of threatening them, throwing stones and stealing mobile phones, Al Watan newspaper said.

Here's the best part:

A local court says it is trying to verify the truthfulness of the claims "despite the difficulty" of doing so.

I'm going to be really interested in what that final police report says. What happens if they have to take the genie to court? And what if it has to serve time? Do they make penitentiary lamps?

I remembered one of dialogue spoken in a very famous tele serial "DIFFERENT STROKES" - "WHAT CHA YA TALKIN ABOUT" by Arnold,lol, its really funny, well, i find no fault in Genie, since recession is going on and he also have earn in order to feed his home and childrens, lol, well let's see what court says...

Haaha this is really funny ! :))) is it some kind of joke?? A genie stealing? If in reality its a Genie there is no need for it to steal anything ,genies are suppose to grant your wish they have magical powers to make your wish come true! This is really stupid and filing a report and taking it court is height of stupidity.

:D lols.... A genie in court what if the Genie spell bounds the Judge to give justice in his favour? Haha that must be really interesting i cant find anything more amusing. Just imagine! we are living in 21st century and a couple is suing a Genie, comeon people what has happened to your commonsense? do you think its reality...its a big spoof!!!
