Here is a (Christian) set of videos about science that takes apart not only Creationism, but also Intelligent Design in support of traditional science.

I'd like to get some feedback evaluations and reactions to his presentations.

How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

OK, I only watched the first one. But I did pay attention to it.

The guy needs a little more editing work done, or he's going to be accused of being in league with the devil because of his glowing red eyes. ;)

Seriously, I guess it's progress, in that it helps people get past a "simplistic" (his term, not mine) reading of the bible, and to accept that science can actually help them come to an understanding of the world.

But the hoops he has to jump through to get there . . . well, it's just a bit silly. From my perspective. It's doing what religionists always do: make excuses for God (or the Bible), saying that revealed truth doesn't really mean to say what it says plainly - that, rather, you have to understand the special code which is being used. Which changes as our understanding changes. And which cannot be fully understood because God is just so vast and unknowable and golly gee Godlike, anyway. It's nothing but rationalizations, justifications, and excuses. Why not just cut to the chase and get on with actual science?
