A reminder...

This election is not about a botched Kerry joke.

It's about a botched war (two, considering that since Junior cut and run from Afghanistan, the Taliban have taken over basically everything except the Kabul green zone) that has pointlessly sacrificed thousands of our troops and trillions of our tax dollars.

It's about botched foreign policy, with Iran and North Korea going nuclear while the US is an international leper, the most hated nation on earth.

It's about a botched hunt for Osama bin Laden, whom Junior lost interest in. And botched national security, with the regime putting nuclear cookbooks on a public accessible website! Good friggin' grief! How infinitely stupid are they? This is a thousand times worse than Al Qaqaa.

It's about a botched response to the Katrina disaster, with Junior more interested in rebuilding Trent Lott's beachfront summer mansion (on our dime) than the city of New Orleans.

It's about a botched economy, with millions plunging into poverty since Junior was appointed president, and millions more losing health care, health insurance and other benefits, and a majority seeing their wages at best stagnate or even drop precipitously.

It's about botched attempts to "reform" (i.e. abolish) Social Security, and to "reform" Medicare, i.e. let loose an orgy of corporate welfare and cronyism for the drug megacorporations. It's about deliberately botched environmental, public health and science policy, with cronyism trumping our health and even the future of the planet.

It's also about our constitutional rights being botched and butchered by a regime that has nothing but contempt for democracy or the rule of law. Any one of us can be disappeared into a torture gulag without due cause and without warning. This is no longer the United States we grew up in and were justly proud of - Junior has turned it into a tinpot third-world cesspit.

Everything the rethugs touch, they botch - whether deliberately through their infinite greed, hubris, corruption and criminality, or accidentally though their jaw-dropping incompetence and stupidity.

The rethugs and their media mouthpieces would love to make this election about some other guy's botched joke. That's because they have nothing to run on. No strategy, no policy, no ideas, no clue.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. We have to get rid of those absolutely corrupt sons of bee-otches!
