Shit Storm
ABP has a whole article dedicated to little old me today. I am honored.
As I have mentioned before, I regularly mess with the kooks at anklebitingpundits.com and it appears that I seriously got under their skin the other day. Remember the recent article here on UTI about the Pope's recent comments? Well, they had a slightly different take of course and my comments started a shit storm. They are still talking about it. Not the Pope. Me. Of course, I can't leave well enough alone, and will be torturing them some more today.

Ya I was pretty shocked by the arrogance of the pope. He turned out even worse than I would have guessed. Which is utterly amazing. In a bad way.

Pretty typical comments, I'd say. I always love the appeal to "well, 1.5 billion other people believe as I do, so that means we must be right." Um, comparing raw numbers, does that mean that they agree that Islam is almost *as* right, with the 1.3 billion adherents? Do we get to break it down according to individual sects, and rank each one against the others, to see who has the % of truth? Is that how it works?
*sigh* You're a better man than I ... or at least younger and with more energy for this kind of crap.

You are right, I am always a 'hater'. And definitely not better than you Jim. Probably downright evil. Anyway, a few people including me, have been "truth-squading" the ABP site for years. Mostly about politics, once in a while about god. This is the rare post that related to religion and that is why I decided to share. I must give credit to Winston, kwAwk, djames, mpchops, kareno and a few others who have been their for years, like myself. The site used to be called CrushKerry.com (now ABP) and has about as much integrity as the Rush Limbaugh show or the Fox News Channel.
And yes, the appeal to peer pressure is hilarious- "1.5 billion believe"
Okay, what about the other 4.5 that think your'e nuts? If this Xian god belief thing was done by majority, you lose.
Blinded by your non-belief
Wow! I think being blinded by non-belief is awesome. They are saying that you can't see something because something else (belief) is not in your way. I think that means you are seeing what there is to be seen without a filter. You're enlightened! And I can't believe that they say that your "hatred of religion and believers is patholigical". I thought you were being quite reasonable and level-headed. Keep fighting the good fight!

Thanks Mandy. If you were familiar with these folks you would see I hate everything. The troops, America, freedom, families, children, puppies...etc. You get the picture. Everything I disagree with must equal hate.
