You know what I always loved about you Americans, it is that you guys love to root for the underdog. No matter how fucked that dog is you will always give it the boost it needs to win. Maybe Palin was confused because she couldn't understand why a television newsperson was asking about the print media? Or she was trying to guess which was Katie's hometown paper so she could try to connect to one of the voting public by claiming she reads THAT paper?
I've heard that Palin is very good in actual debates. Let's see if her handlers can get her trained well enough to respond to the questions.

If she can form complete sentences during the debate, it will be considered a pleasant surprise and she will be awarded the victory by the pundits (if not the American people). In fact, if she rolls around on the floor spouting gibberish, the Right will comment on how nice it was that the Holy Spirit came over her and she spoke in tongues!
