Comment trouble
Apparently, I can't post comments here using Mozilla. For some reason, Mozilla doesn't display the captcha verification pictures or the verification word field, so I can't post comments. I can still comment using Internet Explorer, but on this computer, it has several functionality problems. Does anyone else here have similar problems with browsers other than IE?
Update: to add to my trouble, I've just tried previewing a comment to this post, and I didn't have any problems. I didn't see any captcha verification word, but I still managed to click preview. Apparently it's only the threads where people talk to me and I need to reply to them that give me problems...
Second update: I did manage to reply to Frances's comment despite not submitting any captcha verification word, for some reason. I've officially given up on trying to understand what's going on here.

Nevermind
.. and good luck Alon!

Now it says there are 5 comments (presumably including my last one) AND I got no Word Ver AND I still can't see anybody else's comments.
{sigh}
Oh, and will someone tell Darksyde to keep up and get a new pic? Just cuz he's Koster now don't mean he don't hafta keep up appearances back home.

I can post them . . .
But the front says there are Four Comments and I see none of them.
I use Firefox 1.5.2.

Fine here
I'm using mozilla firefox and I can see the Captcha image just fine, and this post shows that I'm able to do so in firefox
Alon...
You shouldn't even see the captcha stuff if you are logged in. The captcha ONLY applies to anonymous commenters, and people applying for a new account. It must be a cookie issue. Try adding www.brentrasmussen.com to your list of sites that are "always allowed" to install cookies.
In the Mozilla browser:
1. Go to www.brentrasmussen.com/log
2. Once there, click "Tools > Cookie manager > Allow cookies from this site".
In Firefox:
1. Click "Tools > Options"
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. Click the cookies tab.
4. Check the "Allow sites to set cookies" check box, then click the "Exceptions" button.
5. Type "brentrasmussen.com" in the "Address of web site" text box, then click the "Allow" button.
Let me know if this works. I can't turn off the captchas without disabling anonymous comments. The spam would KILL us. Right now those captchas are the only thing holding back a huge tide of comment spam.
I already have cookies enabled
I don't see the captcha when I log in; when I tried commenting in IE to test the hypothesis that it was a browser problem, I indeed saw the captcha, but I wasn't logged in. That should teach me to remember the control variables...
But at any rate, the system did tell me a few times that I had to submit a captcha, even though I was logged in. In fact, the first time I tried submitting this comment, the system told me I had to submit a captcha. I'm guessing that it depends on which domain name I use; my problems happened when I commented on http://www.brentrasmussen.com, but not when I commented on http://brentrasmussen.com.
Hmnn.
Well, this new version of Drupal has some issues I'm still tracking down and killing. I'll look into it. Thanks for the info.
